I have a 2016 and followed a YouTube video on how to change it. I also followed the video where it had me remove the panel inside the deck lid and I checked the clips prior to removing the panel. These panels have either 6 or 8 clips / tabs, make sure you order the proper one or it won’t fit. I got a 8 clips / tab to match what I had. To remove it I use a trim tool on the edge to loosen a side then pulled it down, same with the other side and of course disconnected the backup camera prior to doing all of this. The metal tabs weren’t include and neither were the 4 metal grommets that the 4 screws go into so I transferred them to the new panel. Installing the new panel was easy and it looks good. Transferring the camera to the new panel is easy too, 2 screws and then after installation plugs back in. I’m happy with this and it looks so much better with a blank flush panel in the back. Review: don't buy - It fit poorly & had extra clips, we had to remove those and then it still didn't fit snug. had to literally zip tie it to work.
