Excellent pen for the money
This is a fun little pen in every way:1. It's a demonstrator, so you can see how it works, how much ink is left in the cartridge and what color2. it fits my hand perfectly. The grip is curved just right for the way I write3. Screw-on cap for closing but not posting the cap (just be careful to not jam the cap on when you post it for writing). Several other reviewers have commented that the pen is fragile. I haven't had that experience, but I'm very easy on pens and take care not to put the in a position they might be harmed, like the bottom of a cluttered purse.4. I love that it came with a converter so I could put my own ink in right away.5. It started up right away, no special steps taken to clean the tines, flush it or shake it.6. The 0.8 mm nib is lovely. I use it for normal paperwork and it adds a touch of class to my daily writing. If you are looking for a pen that's affordable, dependable, refillable, attractive and fun, look no further. It's a fantastic fountain pen for beginners or pros. The only thing I'll add that might be negative at all: make sure you write with it daily. I let mine sit for a few days and the ink was a little dry for the first few letters, so write slowly if it's been a few days and let the ink catch up, but then you can write normally, but I think that's really more the nature of fountain pens and not exclusive to this brand and model. This is one of my favorite models and I highly recommend it.

Fragile cap body, no response on repair/replacement service - your mileage may vary; mine was pretty low
I bought this pen last year, with the .8 nib, and was pretty excited. It wrote pretty well at first, but soon began having flow issues. I tinkered with the nib a little, and cleaned the feed, but it was still skipping, even with a variety of inks. I also noticed that the base of the cap (the opening where it fits onto the body) began showing small cracks around the edge, stopping at the metal band. The end cap that holds the clip on also began to come loose, and looked like the threaded end was beginning to break off. I finally broke down and sent it to Nemosine with the requisite $5 money order and a note explaining my issues - and never heard back (it was around October or so of 2014, and this is being posted at the end of March 2015). It was a lovely pen for a little while...

I LOVE this pen!
I got this pen because I was beginning to learn Cursive Copperplate lettering. I had only fine and medium nib pens with limited flexibility. The italic nature of this nib gave a good facsimile of a flex nib pen. I'm using it for drill (filling pages with a single letter!) excitement itself! In any case this pen and nib really fills the bill for me. I have other Nemosine pens and all have served me very well. They are light weight, easy on the grip and most affordable. Highly recommended.

Lovely pen!
This is a lovely pen! It's a great size and light weight. The included converter holds a lot of ink I fill it with a syringe so I can get it as full as possible without mess.I absolutely love the 0.8mm stub nib. It has nice variation in line width, while still being fine enough to write in narrow ruled notebooks. This is an unusual nib size/format, and it's exactly what I was looking for.I'm writing with Diamine shimmer ink. It flows beautifully from the nib.

Nice unit, but you will need to get an app to run on your phone or tablet to see the data that this thing generates. I'm using Torque check (android) and it works very nicely (I went ahead and got the paid app $5, it's worth it).

Wonderful pen to add a little style to your handwriting
Wonderful pen to add a little style to your handwriting. I use it as an everyday pen. The cap cracked pretty easy around the base where it screws on but other than that it writes beautifully.

Great nib
The fine stub nib on this pen is terrific. The price of the pen and performance are great.

Blobs ink too easily
I love the looks and the stub nibs, but I have to be extra careful with these pens as they blob out ink too easily. Twice into the cap while carrying (almost the full converter) and once while writing. I heard of this issue and was careful to push the nibs fully in, but it's still a problem. I skill like them enough to keep at home in a cup (nib up) for occasional use.
