Futurebatt Battery for Asus U56E, U56J, U56JC, U56S, U56SV, Part#: A32-U46, A41-U46, A42-U46 Laptop Notebook Computer PC [8-Cell 14.8V]

May be an issue with just this one, but since I purchased it I hadn't really put it to the test. Basically, I use my Laptop close to its power adapter. Only recently had I taken it on the "Road". What a let down. I got to the location, pulled it out of the bag, opened the lid and turned it on. Or, should I say, 'attempted to turn it on.' You guest it... Nada, as in Nada Damn bit of power. Leaving with only a lap tray to use with a pen and paper. When I got back to the office, and connected it to its power supply, the battery indicator show 0%. So, when you see pricing for Laptop batteries differ greatly, as with this case, buy only based on the reviews. Cheap can turn out to be VERY EXPENSIVE.

I bought this battery pack in 2019 because my Asus computer was not holding a charge. Installed battery and computer did not run so I assumed it was something else. Ended up buying a new PC. Little did I know that the new battery pack was faulty until I took the old computer to a computer repair store to see what it needed and I could give the old PC to my daughter. The repair store said it was a faulty battery! Of course the old battery was now out of warranty. Repair store said there are a lot of bad replacement batteries out there. You get what you pay for!

Fit right in with no problems.OEM PC and battery was from Aug 2011, so it was definitely time to replace the battery. (For various reasons can’t really replace the PC).After an overnight charge everything worked fine. When I clicked on battery life it showed over 5 hours—like when the pc was new.Will this battery work for another 8 or 9 years? Remains to be seen of course.

Fit my Asus U46E exactly as original battery. Runtime is more than what I expected, after initial conditioning I am getting approx three(3) hours runtime. I only allow battery to drain until twenty(20%) percent then charge it to eighty(80%) percent. I do alot of web base work with power setting at balance. There was no instruction so I just fully charged battery for several hours then entered BIOS so battery drained, and did this three times. After I just used as I normally would, in this case, using the 20/80 rule My overall opinion is that you can't go wrong buying this battery, price plus runtime equal value.

The battery on my old laptop died, I went to a local battery store that carry specialty batteries. Alas they didn't have any that would fit in stock. They could order one for $115.00 plus $60.00 shipping. I said no thanks, came home and looked up battery part number on Amazon. I found it for under $30.00 + free shipping. So far It's working great! Thank you Amazon!Great price, product and service.

We have all been there with battery issues at one time or another. Your computer, phone, or tablet that uses a battery will eventually have to be replaced. The battery I received from this company works like new and my computer (laptop) even communicates with it. It tells me how much (approximately) how much time I have left to use my computer. I will use this company when I need another battery for sure.

Update: Futurebatt did honor their guarantee and sent a replacement with little hassle so I’m just docking one star for the initial battery’s failure.Original:Worked great in the beginning but did not make it past 9 months. Battery won’t charge anymore and the laptop now also fails to even recognize it’s. Have to fiddle with it a bit. Tried the original battery and that’s still recognized so it’s definitely this one with the issue. Came with a 12 month hassle free warranty but we’ll see how that goes as there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get a replacement through amazon.

Battery arrived in one day! Charged up quickly, to 100% at first. Now will only go to 97%, and not charging. We'll see if it lasts. Also, this is not the exact battery as in the picture. The long rubber comfort strip (as pictured) has been replaced by two small runner feet, which are not comfortable if you actually use the computer on your lap. But it does hold up when I unplug the charger. So far so good.
