Get first layer right
Great printer for the price. Quality outstanding however it is so important to make sure the build plate is correctly levelled else the first layer won’t stick. Ignore the instructions that tell you to use the enclosed card to level but instead level with a sheet of a4 paper or use the card and then lower an additional 0.2mm

Excellent!
I'll keep it short, best 3D printer I've had. You absolutely need to make an adjustment in any software you use to increase the bottom layer exposure time to avoid failed prints. Since changing the settings I've not had one failed print in over 100 mini prints. Also, a tip is don't use the supplied card to level the build plate, put the vat on, make sure the build plate is attached but bolts are unscrewed. Then lower to zero into the vat, use one hand to gently apply pressure over all sides and tighten the bolts. YouTube will a friend to help if too confusing.

Decline in build quality
I was excited when initially purchasing this upgrade. I had already bought a Saturn S which has worked hard for three years now. The first Saturn three I bought broke after a year (stepper motor went) so I gave it up as a bad one off and purchased another thinking I could you the broken one for spare parts. This new one failed on the first build as the shaft came away from the machine and wouldn’t raise the build plate. The bolts it had been anchored with are too short. We have noticed a huge decline in build quality in this machine compared to our earlier Saturn S. very disappointed. Elegoo, your product was excellent before… why are you compromising with cheap or incorrect parts?

Well arrived next day opened it up looks like its already been used some sort of fluid or oil all over the base and cover the lcd tape has bubbled up and had to be removed now onto the fep full of holes and scratched still not set up yet waiting on tape for lcd not what i expected as have had a few elegoo printers before
