And the Steak. - I’ve been eating these since I was a kid in the UK. So, yeah, I like ‘em. Unlike some other reviewers they taste the same as always to me. My American-born family enjoy them also. As it was in1970; they’re not the same as mama used to make but they’re a fine meal given they are so easy and fast to cook. Review: A Great Dish for Those Not Intimidated by Kidney - I enjoy this dish immensely. Okay, kidneys are sometimes iffy for some eaters, but certain offal is actually good. There may be some liver-like taste to the kidney, and overall I am not fond of liver. This I find much better. The pastry shell over this pie is flakey and tasty in good ways. To best open this "can" I recommend one of the OXO Good Grips can openers. ## Features - Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney Pies 425g - 2 Servings - topped by our signature puff pastry. - Frey Bentos ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00C0CM7RU | | Allergen Information | Barley, Wheat | | Best Sellers Rank | #41,662 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #24 in Canned & Packaged Beef #38 in Pie & Pastry Fillings | | Brand | Fray Bentos | | Brand Name | Fray Bentos | | Cuisine | US | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 894 Reviews | | Flavor | Steak | | Item Form | Steak | | Item Weight | 425 g | | Manufacturer | Fray Bentos | | Model Number | BSTW662992 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 3 | | Part Number | BSTW662992 | | Size | 14.99 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Suitable for Vegetarians | | Unit Count | 14.99 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fray Bentos - **Flavor:** Steak - **Item Form:** Steak - **Item Weight:** 425 g - **Number of Items:** 1 ## Images ![Fray Bentos Classic Steak & Kidney Pie 425G - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EOZxcVNLL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the kidney , pork kidney? This current abortion as bought recently has to be THE WORST EXAMPLE of factory- produced Pie I have ever attempted to eat. It has almost no actual Steak and a minuscule amount of Kidney- the filling did not even fill 1/3rd of the pie whilst the “pastry” collapsed within seconds out of the Oven and was extremely rubbery and in-edible I am from the United Kingdom and eaten many of this type of product/pie many many time!! But this particular pies defies description without using curse words , I attempted to send the same comments to Fray Bentos but it appeared not to have accepted- ? I wonder why ## Frequently Bought Together - Fray Bentos Classic Steak & Kidney Pie 425G - Fray Bentos Minced Beef & Onion Pie (425g) - Pack of 2 - Fray Bentos Cheese & Onion Pie 425g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/57775055-fray-bentos-classic-steak-and-kidney-pie-425g](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/57775055-fray-bentos-classic-steak-and-kidney-pie-425g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
