Incase Metallic Slider iPhone 5 - Carrying Case - Retail Packaging - Pink

This is a great 5s case for those looking for compatibility with charging docks, perhaps the best that I've seen that also protects the charging face of the phone. The case itself is quite robust, goes on easily, comes off without too much trouble (but doesn't slip off), and is not too bulky. It's not as slim as Spigen's Slim Armor cases for the 5s, but that line of cases is not amenable to use with charging docks.One downside of this case is that, out of the box, it doesn't fit well with screen protectors - the edges of the case tend to catch the protector edges and pop it off. However, 15 minutes of sanding with an emery board seem to have done the trick - the case no longer catches the protector.

I owned the green version of this case for over a year and really liked it. It finally wore out, so I decided to purchase another one, this time silver. The case provides great protection. I drop it all the time, and my young kids play with my phone quite a bit. I probably wouldn't choose the silver color again because it is quite blah looking and shows more fingerprints than the green one did. The sheen is a very soft powdery kind of finish, not a super shiny metallic finish. Overall I like this case because of the protection that it provides, its neutral styling, and its price point.

I had this case for the iphone 4 and loved it. It provides some protection - I dropped my iphone 4 many times without breaking it - but does not add a lot of bulk or weight. The version for the iphone 5 is just as good. I have had no problems getting the case on and off, and I find it useful that the bottom comes off separately for charging. I also have long hair, and have found that any case that is rubberized on the outside sticks to my hair when I talk on the phone. This case does not do that. I use a second case, a leather pouch, when I put my phone in my bag, so that the screen does not get scratched even though I do not use a screen protector. This slim case is perfect for that use. I recommend this case to anyone looking for some protection without bulk.

Depends on what you expect from this. This would have been a 3-star review if I'd paid more for it -- for nine bucks, I wasn't expecting bulletproof.It's easy to put on, slim, and inexpensive light. Two downsides:1. Not a lot of protection (which, to be fair, I understood to be the trade-off for "slim and light')and2. The first one I bought began to fall apart after six months -- this is the trade-off for "inexpensive". I bought two more when that happened, so that I have one in reserve when the current one begins to chip.

I upgraded from a 3S to a 5S. I absolutely loved my previous Incase 2 piece slider. I opted for the 2 piece because my 3S wouldn't fit on my docking station alarm clock without taking off the bottom piece. I assumed the 5S would be the same, so wanted to stick with a 2 piece slider. The 5S fits on my docking station without taking the bottom off. I like the look, but am disappointed it's not as hard and slick as the one for the 3S. It scratches easily on the back side and picks up grease from fingers that gets soaked into the case material. It's like a "soft" hard case, if that makes sense. I do love the metallic look.

The slider cases work well on the old iPhone 4 which I just upgraded from to my iPhone 5s. Because of the new placement of the earphone jack. The slider part come apart very easily when you try to pull the earphones out of the jack. I hold the phone on the side and pull on the plug. Other than that the case fits as snugly as the old one. It isn't loose as another reviewer suggested. It just doesn't let you remove the earphones easily. That being said I dropped my old phone several times once onto concrete and never got so much as a chip on the phone or other damage. I did replace the case each time though.

Cute case, but not really protective. i recommend otterbox instead. I hate really thick cases, but otterbox makes some slim line cases that have a rubbery lining. I'm about to sell my phone after 2 years and it has no scratches. I don't use a screen protector because they look/feel awful, but the otterbox case is rubbery around the edges and sits a little higher than the screen so when I drop the phone the screen won't touch. Also, since there's a hard smooth case outside the rubbery case, it slides nicely into my pocket.

It fits the iPhone well, and provides good protection in the event of minor drops, scrapes etc. The removable base to facilitate easier access to a docking station is a nice idea, although as we rarely use a docking station I'm not sure it's a feature that will assist us much. Full price we think is quite steep, but if you can get it at a good discount then it's worth it.

This case is not as strong as I expected i only had it a couple weeks and covered in scratches.. It protects the phone ok but would not buy it again

I had one of these for my iphone 4 and it is just as strong but the bottom part of the slider is loose and sometimes falls off.

I love this case, it protects your phone very well. do not let the price put you off, you get what you pay for
