COSRX Low pH PHA Barrier Mist, 75ml

First of all, the makers of setting sprays should get a bottle of this mist and study the spray mechanism because it is the FINEST and most evenly distributed mister I have ever used. No blasts in the face or giant droplets. I applied it after toner and serum, before moisturizer. My skin is having a good day today - it feels smooth and balanced. I have combo/dry sensitive skin that can get oily around the T-zone in the warmer months. What I tend to use mists for is to set and then freshen-up when wearing make-up, and when my skin feels flush/warm, irritated, or when I feel like it needs a little zest. I also like to mist after masking, especially clay based masks. I like this one, and I like that it has no fragrance.

Skin type: combo (oily in my t-zone)I use this after toning as a base for my essence, serum, and moisturizer. I then use it after I apply my moisturizer as the last step. I love it. It’s a mist so it sprays enough to do what it needs to do (unlike the olay facial mist which leaves your face soaked). I also use it throughout the day over my makeup. There isn’t a lot of product in the bottle which is the only shame. Typically lasts me for 2-3 months during the winter though I suspect it will last me longer in the summer as I will not have to use it as much throughout the day.

This is a good product. I saw some people say they used it as a toner but it’s supposed to go on before or after your moisturizer as it provides a barrier. If you use toner, serums, essences, etc. you don’t want to put a barrier on that keeps them from getting into your skin. My only issue with this product is the size. It’s only 2 ounces so it doesn’t last very long when you use it twice a day. Especially if you like to be generous with it like I do. Twenty dollars is a little pricey for it.

I use this mist as my toner and so far I really like it. The mist sprays extremely fine unlike a lot of other mists that leave droplets on the face. Since it has PHA in it, its pH is relatively low so you can use this as a pH adjusting toner especially if you follow up with actives. By itself, the mist is too gentle for me to see any exfoliation, but I use it with the matching PHA moisture renewal power cream and my skin feels smooth in the morning. Both this mist and the corresponding cream are quite gentle and I have not gotten any irritation from them, and I have somewhat sensitive skin.

I have extremely dry skin and did not see any changes in my skins hydration while using this. It makes a VERY fines mist so I had to use it a lot just to feel anything on my face.

This product really does a good job of setting in and allowing my skin to absorb the skincare I apply to my skin. I would say it is a good equivalent to the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. It is scentless, if my skin begins to feel tight in the afternoon and I spray this on, it does alleviate some tightness/dryness.

I would not recommend this product at all!!!! It smells like plastic (extremely nasty) and doesn’t feel as refreshing nor does it linger enough to actually do anything.

I love this product, but I did not receive this product. The packaging was practically perfect, but the product within was an easy to spot fake. If your product has ANY scent at all, then its a fake. Mine smells faintly of hairspray and it feels the same. I think someone put watered down hairspray in this bottle.
