Compared to the mounts that extend lower, these are about 1/2 the cost. While they aren't designed for my VKB Gladiator NXT EVO sticks, with a little creativity and a very low cost mod, they work great. I simply bought a couple 1/4" thick black plastic cutting boards and traced out the base of my joysticks on them. Then cut them to shape and drilled holes for some hardware to attach them. Total cost of cutting boards and hardware was under $20. Love the height at its lowest setting. It's roughly 4 inches below the desktop. The mounts are well built and easy to assemble. Clamps work great. Very happy with these for my custom setup. Be creative and make it work for you!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great option for desktop use.
