Miz Mooz Women's Carissa Dress Pump

I wear a 7.5 to an 8 depending on the brand. I would say I am a "7 3/4" as most 7.5 are too small and 8 are too large. For this shoe, 8 was an excellent fit. Toe box seems a bit narrow so I am glad I opted for the larger side of things. If you are in between sizes, go up. If you are firmly a size, stay with what you usually get.They are a comfortable height heel and honestly overall pretty comfy, with the exception of my middle toe on both sides being very crammed into my next largest toe. If you can hold a ruler from your the tips of you "index toe" to your "ring toe" without hitting the middle toe you probably would not run into this problem. I don't have an exceptionally long middle toe but it is a bit taller than the ruler line I described.The gray is great but the box says charcoal, I ordered gray so I'm a little confused but I'm happy!No rubbing on heel or back of leg. I needed to unbuckle to put my foot in but mostly I chose to do that so the strap (leather) wouldn't stretch out. Not overly cushioned but I think with a ball-of-foot support I could go in these for hours. They feel like they need a bit of breaking in, but not much.

These shoes are lovely in person and feel very comfortable. I bought a 7.5 instead of my usual 7 so I could insert cushy insoles, and the shoes will accommodate that very well. They are also wide enough to comfortably accommodate my feet, which are a little wide and have a small bunion. However, I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because the color name is ambiguous. I expected "midnight" to be blue; they appeared to be a smokey blue on my monitor. But they are grey. They're a lovely shade of medium grey, but I already have grey shoes that I like and needed blue shoes. If the color had been unambiguous (e.g., grey or smoke), then it wouldn't matter what color they appeared on my monitor. But "midnight" could be interpreted lots of ways. Because of monitor variations, I really wish that companies selling their products online would use less poetic and more understandable color names. I have purchased some leather dye and hope to turn these lovely grey shoes into lovely blue shoes. We'll see...

MIRACLE SHOES. I've had broken metatarsels and several tendon surgeries, so I'd about given up on heels since none of them have wide enough toe boxes. Not only is the toe box on these wide enough, the strap up top keeps my toes from sliding forward and scrunching.Color is fab - just as in the picture, but the high quality leather will make them interesting as they scuff and wear a bit.The leader around my ankles is soft and when I stand there is not really a gap where the flirty little back piece comes up. When I sit there's a small gap, but tbh I kind of feel like Hermes with it, so I'm cool with it.This is my first pair of Miz Mooz and I will be ordering SO MANY MORE.I'm usually a 9.5/10 - ordered a 9.5 and fit perfectly. Much wider than my pair of Fluevogs, but those were pointy toed with a higher, thinner heel.

I loved the look of these shoes when I saw the pic online and was not disappointed in how they looked when I received them. A lovely well made unique leather shoe! My only disappointment is that they are seriously a 1/2 size too small. I think only 1 other time in my adult life (and I'm 54) have I had to go to a 9.5 size shoe. I could get them on and they looked soooo cute but my toes had no room and they were just too snug. I believe they will be a comfortable shoe in the appropriate size for my foot. They didn't pinch. They have that soft leather feel when you slip the shoe on and the heel height was perfect but just too snug. I love them so much I re-ordered in a 9.5 right away and hope to get them in time for a business trip!Update: The 9.5's definitely felt better. I had to do a lot of walking on my business trip and the heel height became a factor. Not a "power walk" shoe. That being said, a nice office shoe.

This is my second pair of Miz Mooz shoes and the second pair I really love. They are soft and well made, and although this heel was a bit higher than I usually like for dancing in, I went with them anyway. These shoes are really cute on and I had no trouble with a gap at the back as some reviewers had stated. I usually wear a size 7 and this size 7 fit great. I like the Miz Mooz style because they seem to be designed for comfort as well as style, and these were perfect to go with my "retro" styled dress. However, as comfortable as they were, I still should have given them a few days of wear before dancing in them for hours - my feet were in serious pain by the end of the night. Still, overall it was worth it and they will be fully dance-able for next time!

These are amazing. Surprisingly comfortable for being on your feet, although not ideal for standing in one place all evening. Good for all day at work too - combination of sitting and walking around a lot. I am normally a size 7.5-8 in dress-shoes, and these fit as expected. I went with the 8 for a little more room. They don't rub anywhere, nor do they they feel too loose. They look great with dresses, skirts + leggings, and cropped pants. I have an older pair of Miz Mooz boots with a higher heel, and they're reasonably comfortable too. These are better though. Wore them to a 1920s party with a fringe dress and they fit right in. Considering buying in another color, although they're so unique/recognizable that I'm not sure I want to go that route just yet.

I own several pairs of Miz Mooz boots and a couple pairs of flats, but have never tried the dress shoes. These are the most amazing dress shoes I've ever owned. These are so comfortable and so stinkin cute. The leather is so soft and I have crazy sensitive feet. Any kind of heel usually hurts with in the first 5 minutes of being on, but I was able to wear these the first day for almost 6-7 hours and until they started to rub on my toes-and that was because it was hot and I was on my feet a ton. So cute, comfortable and amazing quality.

Loves me some Miz Mooz and have for years. As usual though, I'm somewhere between an 8 and an 8.5, so I just go with 8.5 and add an insole. These fit perfectly with the insole, they're SO comfortable even though they are the highest heels I own! I bought these because I just started working in a more business formal environment and they have just the right amount of whimsy if I'm wearing something rather demure.
