Easy to use
I cook for my dog. Usually I prepare two days’ batch. But sometimes I forget about the pot on the stove until a burning smell wafts throughout the house. This timer saved Fido’s meals and other kitchen creations.

Prevent fires???
A bit tinny but it works. It stops her from boiling chicken bones until they catch fire (IF she remembers to wear it...). You think I am joking? Last month there was so much smoke I could not see across the kitchen.

ANTI- DISTRACTOR!
I use this timer for loads of things, in the kitchen to stop me burning everything, to write my novel in 5 minute bursts and to allocate my sreen-time so I don't get distracted. I changed the cord for a pretty, longer one that suited me better. No problem.
