It's a bit pricey at the £214 I paid, but it replaced a £100 Stuart Turner pump which died after 8 months with brushes failure.We are using it to pressurise the cold water for the whole house, which I guess why the cheap pump died quickly.These pumps come with a brushless motor so you'll be leaving it to your kids :)Also a brass pump means it will take a long time to wear out.The Stuart Turner pump was rated at 2.0 bar, this is a 3.0 bar, but it seems at least twice the power.It's not that quiet: we have it in the kitchen under the sink and it's obvious when it's running, but if you close the kitchen door it's almost inaudible.UPDATE:We still have this pumping the whole house water and it's still running fine a year later
