However the effort is worth it as the sound is definately richer with the bone pins compared with the stock plastic ones. I don't know why they supply the guitar with the stock plastic pins but bridge and nut are alledgely bone. The bone pins are a definate upgrade and also are much easier to pull out to change strings.
