Great little refillable lighter. I carry one all the time and have several in my camping kit and emergency hiking and kayaking kit. The only downside is they are not waterproof, you will have to dry them out before use if you take one swimming and the airlines, TSA doesnt like them.

Bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband put fluid in it does not work and the compass is broke on it was a big waist of money

Normally, I don't buy lighters. I made an exception in this case. I like the idea of a backup that has some dual functionality. This fits the bill. I did have a little trouble keeping it lit, so I gave it four stars. It could be me, but it seems like it's hard to keep striking. It does have a good flame. I love the color, it makes it easy to find. I like the compass function. Overall, it's pretty cool. Still, it's a gadget, I will always have my primary system for a fire starter.

Good lighter!! Bought for use on the boat when under way and the wind is blowing. So impressed I bought two more for friends. They love them as well.

I have purchased over a dozen lighters from this company and have been nothing but happy with him. I've gifted over a dozen to family and friends and have always come to know their quality. After purchasing the old school waterproof lighter I didn't open it for about a year and when I did it didn't work so I reached out and bought this orange one, the first time I go to fill it, and I didn't use unnecessary orce at all, it just broke out of its housing.I didn't want to go through the rigmarole of trying to send it back and all that stuff the lighter still works it just doesn't work as intended and I will fix it one day

I ordered 3 of these. 2 did not work. I was sent 2 replacements. 1 didnt work 1 would light but it was like a bic lighter, no jet effect. The one that does work requires you to adjust the fuel pressure after about every 10 lights. I would not recommend these to anyone. 1 star out of five for 1 working lighter out of 5.
