LG LW1017ERSM Energy Star 10,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi (Renewed)

I love this AC, replaced a portable 8k that just wouldn't keep up with the heat outsid3, installed this.10k window unit and have not been disappointed. I love being able to check the room temp on the go via units wifi! Excellent unit and remember there is nothing wrong with refurbished goods, just get the extended warranty!

Works. Awesome. The wifi ability is such a great feature as well as energy saving. Just not bottom slides are just 2 plastic pieces. They are not metal like some new ones come with. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase of this product

I had purchased an air conditioner from Amazon couple years ago and it had just conked out after maybe 4 years so I bought this because of the price with the size but I learned my lesson Very big little loud and after a week the front panel doesn't close heavy as heck it does cool room but the window track is substandard the thing is too big to take to a post office unless you have a car so defeats the whole purpose of buying from Amazon!!

The AC itself works fine. The room cools off. Its a refurb, which I knew going into it but it was boxed with none of the right pieces and a completely useless set of instructions. The guide rail, which is essential to keep it from falling out the window, came with holes that didnt line up with the holes on the AC. The holes on the AC were too wide for the screws supplied. So im left with no way to attach the most essential piece. Next, it comes with feet that are supposed to sit on the window sill and support its weight, with no holes in the bottom of the casing to attach these feet to. Next, there’s two L shaped support brackets in the instructions that attach to the front for more security, except mine didnt come with them. Finally, it came with a variety of pieces that arent even included in the instructions and I realized its because there is a second set of instructions online that tell you to take the unit out of the casing to install these pieces properly, none of which is included in the instructions provided. So with my own support bracket and hardware I happen to have in my tool box, I was able to safely install and secure the until, with absolutely no help from the instructions or pieces provided.

The wi-fi connectivity is great for someone who has pets and is not always home to control the temperature. The app tells you the room temperature even when the A/C is not turned on. Noise level is very good for the size of the A/C and the quickness with which it can cool the room.
