Decent Case With Just A Few Flaws.
If your Guitar costs $1000 or more I would look elsewhere. But mine cost just over $200 so that has to be factored into my review and rating for the case. The case was a recommended fit for my Washburn C5CE Classical Cutaway Acoustic-Electric guitar. It hugs the guitar well allowing no movement of the instrument inside the case.It seems to be constructed well but I have some concerns about taking it out in the rain as there is no seal around the inside of the lid and the tolex covering is not stitched at the bottom. It is glued on there and in the case I received it was pulling away in two small areas. The accessory compartment is just adequate for a classical style guitar but IMO if you were to put a steel string guitar in this case you would be taxing the capacity of the compartment with a strap a tuner some polish cloths extra strings and a pick tin. Also, the lid for the accessory compartment is not hinges or attached in any way other than by the fabric lining of the case. Mine had a small tear in it so I don't dare use it for fear that over time the fabric will completely tear away and the lid would then be unattached and useless.Lastly, For protection of your instrument around the hose or for getting from point A to point B by car or walking it will do a fine job. I would not, however, trust this case if you were traveling by plane or train. It is not sturdy enough for that kind of use.For the price I think it could be a little better quality but seems to match others in the price range well.I'd recommend with just a little bit of caution.

Basic, solid case. Good quality, good price
I could not find a review of this case, but ordered it based on reviews of other Gator cases and the reasonable price. I might have ordered the tweed if I could have found it, but I ordered the black. It's a pretty basic case. Very sold feeling with a plush black lining and the typical storage under the neck. Quality seems very good. Nice latches, cushy handle. Arch-top isn't super archy-- less than I expected from the picture--but will provide some added protection. Small metal feet on the side and bottom. Perfect fit for my dreadnaught.

Great construction and a good fit!
The construction of this case is quite heavy duty. It fits a Fender CD-60S dreadnought almost perfectly. Just enough wiggle room to allow me to stash the guitar with the strap still attached. I’m not using the case for travel so it should probably out last me. However, it certainly seems sturdy enough to protect your instrument for those who take it on the road. We’ll done, Gator Cases!

Very good for the Price
The build on it seems a bit cheap. Do not misunderstand, it does perform to standards I believe, but the outer case material (not quite a hardened shell, more like vinyl or pvc over plywood) chips and scratches or slits very easily under average or reasonable care (non-abusive care). Some of the metal floor subs may loosen easily for some reason, not quite fell off yet though. It does have a key to lock, nice plush lining on the inside and the accessory compartment is always good to have. It does not feel solid like an SKB case I have for my Les Paul. That thing has taken real abuse (compared) time and again and it has held up to it with minor or average damage, the shell on it is tough and it has aluminum trim on both the halves that inter-lock nicely when closing it and latching.I can't rate this gator jumbo case 5 stars just because it's less than abuse-proof IMO, one has to actually be more careful handling this case that one better built. It does keep your jumbo acoustic guitar reasonably snug and protected which suits the main purpose. This case is excellent for the price but then again that is why you would pay more than twice as much for a better quality one.I do recommend it if you're on a budget, it will save your life and your guitar's, If money is not an issue though or you're rough when moving your gear or travel a lot, search for something more solid.

GREAT CASE
UPDATE- I bought this case 5 years ago, (original review below) and am changing my rating to 5 stars. It is a solid beautiful case and definitely worth the money.I was a little worried that my guitar would not fit, as I have a TAKAMINE GJ 72CE 12 string. This is a jumbo sized, big & hefty bodied guitar! it is bigger than my two Taylor 6 strings... I took measurements, and compared to the other jumbo sized cases. This Gator was the only one tall enough. The case came today, and I need to evaluate over time as to how it performs, so I only gave it 4 stars. Will update as time goes on, but so far, it looks like a good purchase. Amazon has a Fitted Takamine 12 string jumbo case that fits this guitar, if you want to spend the extra 38. bucks.... In my opinion, you're probably just paying for the Takamine name written on the side. So glad I got this case!

Inside smells like Pot.
The case seemed well made enough for what it cost, but we bought this as a "throw-away" case for our demo guitar, expecting it to get beat up by people who were trying out our instruments.Problem is, the inside smelled like pot so badly that multiple potential customers commented about it. Now, you might not think this is that big of a deal, but we sell primarily to worship leaders in churches. When a pastor opens a case and it smells like we've been getting high instead of making high-quality instruments, it sends the wrong message in a very bad way. We finally had to put our case curb-side for the garbage man to avoid losing any more sales.I'm going to buy one more to see if this was a fluke. If not, we will never be buying a case from this company again.
