For added moisture and anti aging protection, I use my Olay Regernist Serum, Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel, and Eurcine Sunscreen. I've been using this essence for a week and I can already see a difference. Not only does it provide anti aging properties, but also whitening properties. Last week, I was breaking out so badly due to raging hormones and I had a lot of scarring from previous break outs. Using this essence not only calmed my skin, but my scars are slowly fading too! Is it sold in mainland china?** A: I don't know if it is tested on animals or sold in China but it does contain antelope or deer horn, they claim it is harvested in a humane fashion, but that is very hard to believe. **Q: The first and second picture are different. One has 90% and one doesn't. Which one is right?** A: This one has 90% Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate in it ;) **Q: What is the difference between this one and the rose edition? Are the effects the same?** A: I did few research the main difference between this and the rose edition is percentage of Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate in them, this one has 90% while the Rose has 94% and rose water extract with adenosine in it. It is very light and I do notice a great difference in my skin. I would say this is comparable to some of the higher brands. I have tried the Missha First Treatment Essence, Iope Essence, and Sulwhasoo one. This one is like the Missha First Treat Essence. It is quite watery and light. It is also a fraction of the cost. I have combination/oily skin so I like items like this where it leaves no residue, absorbs quickly, moisturizes without the weight and brightens. It also has a very refreshing sensation on your face. I use this one for the day because it is so light. I do go through it quite quickly though because I like to pat multiple layers on. I prefer a thicker essence for the night time like the Iope one.
