I got the 60x80 size weighing 17lbs. I’ve only had it a few days and can tell I’m sleeping better using it. For years I’ve usually slept only about three hours before waking up and then alternating between wake and sleep for the rest of the night. Exhausting. This blanket has definitely helped with that problem because I’m sleeping longer now by about two hours.I can’t tell yet if it’s too light in weight for super deep extended sleep and may buy a heavier blanket to try. But I’m definitely keeping this 17 pounder because I have not had my usual 5 a.m. hot flash since using it. Maybe the metal beads are cooling? Whatever the reason, I’m sleeping better with it.Material: The blanket is not super thick or bulky and is easy to handle. I just sort-of shake it out in the morning (good arm workout) and put it back on the bed. The cotton exterior feels thick and appears to be sturdy. I like how the blanket looks. I got it in white and it actually is a true crisp white. Looks so nice I didn’t even put a cover on it.
