If you are looking for a first time embroidery, I'd recommend this one. I also recommend it as a fun and cute one to do! The stitches were simple, the directions were good, and it came with everything it advertised. The white pattern marks do wash off. I was able to get them off with just a wet cloth. But washing it on a gentle cycle in a mesh garment bag would be easier. Air dry it.
