Sun Joe SWJ800E-63 Oregon 8-Inch Replacement Semi Chisel Pole Chainsaw

I have a Sun Joe tree trimmer and did not realize you had to grease the chain and bar each time you use it, so when I went to use it, the old one had rusted. Purchased this one from Amazon along with a bar. When they came in, the directions were very plain and it was easy for me to install. Could not find the part at any local store, so I was pleased with the price and the results. It works great. Make sure you oil and clean it well after each use.

My trusty Sun Joe chain was duller than my senior year in high school and just wasn't cutting anything. Sadly, no local hardware stores had this chain in stock, so I turned to old faithful, Amazon.com, that is. They had the chain and I placed an order for next day delivery. Now that I got my chain, I have to say I'm satisfied. Though after 5-6 hours of cutting into tree branches, the chain has lost some of its cutting power, but to be honest it was to be expected.But for the price, 5-6 hours of cutting time is more then enough.

Chain saw cuts well, even small hardwood branches.However, remaining oil leaked out overnight.Solution needs to be devised to cut off residual oil in order to stop leaks.Some sort of ''handle'' should be placed on shaft to enhance usage when fully extended.

I am not much of a mechanic but I will say that the replacement chain I bought for my Sun Joe SWJ800E-63 worked well and was out of the box and installed on my saw in 10 minutes. The only concern I encountered was to make sure the chain was positioned on the saw rotating in the right direction. I did a practice cut, and all was well. I was very happy with this purchase.

It fit my Sun Joe perfectly and sharp as can be it tore through a big oak log. The Sun Joe electric chain saw is a an excellent little saw I cut down some major tree limbs with it and beat it to death all day long and it still runs great. Its important with any chain saw to make sure you never run the chain saw chain oil low. This little saw goes through alot of chain saw oil but its worth it.

Correct size for saw. Ordered and it came in a few days. My husband connected the piece onto the saw and was outside cutting for 2 hours. The chain was great? No complaints.

Chain blade wasn’t sharp at all. Prior chainsaw blade was better. Was it used? Too much trouble to return.

Works great. Cuts through oak like butter. Just let the weight of the pole saw do the cutting. When I ordered my Sun Joe pole saw, I ordered this extra Oregon blade. Good thing, the chain that came with the saw had a twist in it that can' be removed without taking the chain apart. This spare worked perfectly and Sun Joe also sent me a replacement Oregon blade so I still have a spare. I have had good luck with Oregon blades on gas chain saws.

I bought two, first is still sharp enough after more than three years of pruning trees and cutting firewood. Will save second one for my next big project.

Nicely packaged with all of the info about the chain as to what file size to use and so forth. I have not un-packaged it yet as its just my standby when my other chain gets too dull. So I cannot actually write more that what I did, but it looks good and am sure it will pass the test.
