Makes poulticing so simple as you just pop a poultice pad in the bottom and do up the strap. I do put some cotton wool and vet wrap around the leg below the fetlock joint to avoid any running risk. I bought a medium for my dainty foot 15hh Andalusian . It fits him fine but I would want it any smaller. So for bigger horse I’d suggest the large. He’s been poulticed and walking around my yard with the boot - and this week we’ve had torrential rain - and his dry poultice has stayed dry and in place. First time I used a bit of tape as length of strap too long to secure onto Velcro. But haven’t bothered since as not caused a big issue other than gathering debris on the spare Velcro. Highly recommend this product! Wish I bought this years ago! Certainly makes up for my poor poulticing skills with vet wrap and grey industrial tape!
