These did exactly what I needed them to do, which was to rewire my 12v air pump so I could connect it directly to the battery instead of plugging it into a lighter socket.Pros: They work, they're inexpensive, they come with built-in crimp-on connectorsCons: They are cheap, the plastic seems flimsy, the crimp-on connectors fold down into the body of the clamp too easily, making it difficult to crimp the wires into them.Overall: Good enough.

The internal clips are all brass and easy to solder. The clamps are made for two sizes of wires. Make sure you run your wires through the one side that has the cable hole. You can change the position from one side to the other by removing screw. They do have a pinch clamp but best to solder
