So far pretty great!
Let me start by saying I already have a Sony Google TV and Roku. The Sony Google TV and Roku work well for Plex Media Server, and they may be a better option if your sole purpose is streaming from Plex, Amazon Instant Video, and Netflix. In my first week of using the Android TV Dongle here is my feedback:The picture quality (over wifi) is much lower when using Plex Media Server for movies than my Sony Google TV and Roku. However, it is much better than Google TV in a lot of other areas. Android 4.2 is great on a large TV (Sony Google TV has been stuck on 3.12 forever). To get the full benefit, I would recommend getting a bluetooth remote. I mainly use my Android TV for web browsing, music, and for the Slingplayer App. The Slingplayer App is great! 100 times better than Slingplayer on Google TV or Roku. Picture quality is very good and much easier to use. I have no explanation why picture on Slingplayer comes in so well while Plex struggles on this device. I am expecting a significant improvement with Plex when I receive my ethernet adapter next week. I will change my rating to 5 stars if picture quality improves with ethernet. You can download nearly every app on the Play Store, which is a great feature . I don't play games frequently, so I cannot comment too much on those apps, but for a Slingplayer, web browser, and music, it meets my needs.I ordered a USB ethernet adapter and a mini usb hub, so I can plug in more than one usb device at a time. It DOES work with my 2TB external hard drive. If you want to get full use out of this, plan on spending money on a USB hub, ethernet adapter, and bluetooth remote. This may cost you an additional $40.After a few months of use, I will try to update this review. I gave it 4 stars, because it will cost over $100 to get everything out of it, but in my opinion, it is worth it. Depending on your needs, you may want to consider this over Google TV, Apple TV, or Roku. Each of the devices have their benefits, so you have to decide what is best for you. In summary, I am very happy with this device. IF the video quality on Plex drastically improves with the usb ethernet adapter, I may change my opening sentence and not choose the Roku or Google TV over this Dongle for Plex. It has potential to be the most universal media device out there.

Pretty decent
So far I like the stick fairly well. For people who are curious, and to over simplify this product, it turns your tv into an android tablet with all the feature of Android, without a touch screen of course.Overall it seems to work as it should, just a couple of bugs here and there which are very minor. I really only have 2 gripes. The wifi reception on this device isnt the greatest. It seems to run slower than you would expect over wifi but it will still stream video from Netflix. I recommend getting a USB network adapter for a good wired connection, you will need a USB hub as well if you get more than 1 USB device you want to plug in.My other gripe is I can't seem to find ANY kind of official support for this device. NOTHING on the insert, which is in broken english, which I expected. It doesn't give any information in the insert that a person familiar with Android would need. No contact info or website for support. Nothing. I tried following links to the seller of this device and I couldn't find anything there either.I really want to root the device for better control since it doesn't ship rooted, some other sticks do, but I cant find anything for this specific device. Hopefully it gets more popular and some people start making some tools to root and streamline the device.I find this android stick very handy though.

It’s ok but slow
Slow .. but it seems to work as it should, just a couple of problems which are not so important. I really only have 2 gripes. The WiFi reception on this device isn't very good, and It seems to run slower than you would expect over WiFi but it will still stream videos. I would recommend to get a USB network adapter for a good wired connection.

Wow.
So...-Had to install custom ROM (NEOMODE AP6210 Version 1.9a, Kernel 3), fixes several video issues, and removes bloatware.-Everything runs great. 1080p DTS MKV backup files run smooth with HDMI passthrough turned on in settings.-Plex runs great, MXplayer runs great with H/W+ decoder.-Glad I did not go for the Roku 3 or Chromecast.-I have nothing bad to say about this device.PACKAGING:Unit itself was new, but the AC Adapter they gave me was old and had a bad USB port.THINGS TO CONSIDER:-I just plugged the USB into the back of my Surewest receiver and it powers the device, so I did not even need the AC adapter.-Also, invest in a USB to Ethernet adapter for super network speed for high bit-rate MKV backup files.

The unit works great. I installed beyond XBMC and other android apps and all seem to be working OK. No overheating and The WIFI works well with no signal drops. I use the XBMCremote iPhone app to control XMBC. I power the unit from the USB port on the TV so no need for an external power adapter. so far so good. With the Quad Core CPU and 16GB built-in, this is a nicely performing android dongle at a great price. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the Bluetooth reception is fair - could have be better.

No wifi connection!! Unusable keyboard connection - too slow.
Would not connect to the wifi. Had a full wifi signal strength and was within 3 meters. The instructions said that you needed to be within 20 meters. Also the keyboard connection had such a lag that it was unusable. On the positive side, the resolution looked good on a 21.5 inch monitor - but since you could not get a connection to the internet - the whole device was of no use.

I bought this product and only worked 40 days, after this time, no longer works. And the problem is not warranted. I got the damage.

Decent CPU, cheap plastic.
Cheap quality build, decent power. This was my first android tv stick/device. I was expecting a roku type performance but that is not really the purpose. These are meant to be multipurpose and as far as that goes (browsing, gaming, etc) I think it's a pretty decent product. The cheap plastic broke very easily though.
