My new baby was a stray who was passed around a few times before she ended up with me. She has some trust issues but I just give her space and love whenever she wants. Anyway, I bought her some of those flat cardboard scratchies that my old cat loved. She would sit on them but not scratch them. Then she started going after the carpet, and my couch! Yikes!!
