Good to have built in cables - I bought two different charger of almost identical capacity to see which is better. This didn't do half as well as another brand I chose and already doesn't have much capacity to charge my phone or my tablet. It would charge my ipad to 80% full after using it when this item was brand new. Now I've had it a couple of months, the charger will charge it to 50 - 60%. This is far less than stated on the website. I don't know why this is as it's only a standard ipad mini & my iphone is not fancy or large capacity. So the performance is nothing like as stated. It is light weight & good to have different cable ends for different items. As they aren't very good at being bent in different directions, I'm not sure of their long term strength. It recharges faster if you use usb c cable directly into the battery pack.
