Great so far!
While I haven't had it long enough to say how it holds up to time, I can say that I'm very happy with the purchase so far. I placed the order Saturday, and received it the following Wednesday without special shipping, which I couldn't be happier about.Once I unwrapped all the pieces it wasn't nearly as overwhelming as I expected, I finished it very quickly, my drill turned out to be broken, but it's perfectly sturdy on my rug after tightly hand-tightening everything. It's a little wobbly when I purposefully try to wobble it, which I thought would drive me insane as it shifts every time I move, but it doesn't move at all when I'm acutally using it. The casters are easily adjustable which should compensate for any basic wiggling, however the table top also wiggles individually, and I get the impression that fixing my drill wont do me any good, but again, there's no wiggle when I'm actually trying to draw or hem.I should mention why I bought this table. I wanted a drafting table that I could do art and sketches on, but I needed a multipurpose table that I could use my ancient (and super heavy) sewing machine on, and could hold up to any various fix-it projects. I was worried this table wouldn't be strong enough, or big enough, however I'm very happy with the purchase. The only issue I had was with the drawers. They were badly warped, possibly due to heat during shipping, which made snapping them together a real challenge, but once I managed to get them to snap in place they held, and the finished product doesn't look warped, one or two of the drawers close a little finicky but nothing major.Overall, I'd recommend it. I also left a picture of my finished product

A couple flaws but overall ok....read on
The table was packed pretty good when received. Some minor scratches on the table surface but probably due to some dust that was between the cover but acceptable. The drawing diagrams have one big flaw but if you analyze them as I did it could make you second guess the manufacturing of the parts. The issue is with the upper leg portion that supports the brackets needed to hold the top desk in place. On the diagram they are incorrectly drawn so that the tabs that stick out to hold the rachet assembly that connects to the table are placed on the incorrect - shorter end. This may make you initially believe that the upper parts were incorrectly welded to the wrong side of the legs. I called the manufacturer number on the instructions and the number was listed as "Disconnected".....then called the reseller and received no response......So, I went ahead on instinct and built it with both tabs facing inward although it was drawn incorrectly and it seem to be ok. The letters on the bolts packaging are pretty worthless. It's better to open the parts package and spread everything on the open and take notice that some bolts that appear almost the same in length are different since then are placed in a confusing manner upside down every other bolt. The letter markings are sometimes not near what they should be near.....so proceed with caution. The rachet mechanism that allows the table to be inverted upwards, works nicely but I wish the legs could have extended a bit higher but it's ok for this purpose. The plastic drawers assembled ok. The metal bracket that it slides into really don't hold it well but it stays in well enough for the drawers to be opened and closed. If there is something wedged in their tightly, it may not be ok.....Overall, it's ok. The welds are kind of cheaply done, but they are done by hand. It's pretty sturdy and ok for general arts and crafts use in my opinion. I am using it for free style drawing and pastel drawing.

Bad caster wheels after rolling around after three times
The table seems OK to use. The plastic drawers can not be secured. They always fell to ground after a slight bump. In addition, all 4 of the provided caster wheels broke after three uses. Cheap wheels. It costs more than $25 to replace them.

Just know what you are getting
Not a bad desk for such a low price. But it is not sturdy. If you need a table to rest a few light things on (like I do) then it will probably work. If you are looking for a work desk then it is not a good option. It is wobbly. So if you are going to use it to write on then it is not a good bet.For me it holds my paper cutter and other office supplies. So it is acceptable. But I would not like it if I were doing work on that desk.

Defective parts - Be careful when buying furniture from Amazon
I bought this table as a Christmas present for my artistic daughter. While assembling this table I discovered that one of the knobs used for adjusted the height of the table was defective. It has no threads. Its an easy part to replace, one would think. However, when I contacted the manufacturer they insisted I go through Amazon to get a replacement part. I'm now in the process of trying to do that. It appears to me that the distributor, Alvin, is not in the business of supporting its products. They didn't even want to know what part it is. It's a $1 part for crying out loud. Why do they have to make it so complicated?Their mission statement says ...The employees of Alvin & Company are committed to meeting our customers' high expectations for service and product selection. We serve today's needs -and tomorrow's-for graphic arts, drafting and fine arts products. Dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of our business, we rely on our employees to create and develop opportunities that set us apart from the competition. In the words of my daughter - "an epic fail"Update - Amazon says they have no means to get replacement parts. They offered me a partial refund or for me to return it for a full refund. I guess I'll take it apart and return it to Amazon.I learned my lesson. Don't buy furniture from Amazon that has to be assembled. Their manufacturers may not even try to support their products.Simply pathetic.Final Update - Hyatt's All Things Creative did contact Alvin and the defective part was replaced. The table in now fully assembled and looks good.
