Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye 103B/8CB Natural Medium Champagne Blonde

Does what it's supposed to do, that is cover grey hair. I have a lot of hair and one bottle will just about cover the roots which is fine. Easy enough to slap on. It has a strong smell and does make my scalp sting slightly in places - this is not an allergy thing it's just dry/sensitive scalp I have never had an allergic reaction to this stuff but if you have not used it before you should patch test. I should add that it doesn't make my scalp any more dry afterwards .Leave it on about 25 mins, rinse til clear and use the conditioner which is fantastic and excellent quality- I use a 6th as advised and my hair is waist length and thick and it does the job perfectly. I used the dark blonde on my light golden brown hair and the result is perfect match for my natural colour so I would say go a shade lighter to be sure. Low priced, easy to use and will get rid of the grey. I use this to cover grey hair and blend into my natural hair, if you are going to go a drastic shade different from your own colour at your own risk, it's permanent dye. I'd say it would be best see the hairdresser to avoid the Ronald McDonald look and a pricey colour correction bill.

I have been using this colour - light caramel brown - for years and was often complimented on my hair, but now I can't get it any more. Clairol told me that it was now called "Light Mocha Brown" but I used that and it is nothing like the same colour, it's much darker and with no red tones at all. My hair looks dull and lifeless. I am so upset, I will now have to try other colours in the new formula to try and find one I like.

I have really dark brown hair and have recently had it bleached in the ombre style. It went an almost honey ginger but it was way too ginger for my liking. The ends also went an unnatural looking yellow.. was scary! I bought this product from boots cause the brassy tones needed to go and I'm so happy with the colour! Its exactly how I wanted it to turn out and looks much more natural now. Very happy :)Works great on medium brown brassy tones too.. just leaves you with sassy cool tones ;)

I’ve been using this product for years

This brand is very good and I have been using it for many years. The best thing about this hair colour (and other blonde shades) is that it blends the roots perfectly in my opinion. The champagne shades do give rather cool tones however not so grey/dull as ash tones. I like that on pixie hair you can divide ingredients in the tube and the bottle into two and you get two uses out of one packet.

Smells nice, came quickly. Box was a bit battered but the bits inside were fine. Hair was a strawberry blonde before this - wasn’t expecting it to go super dark but was expecting a wee bit darker than this! Still a nice colour though, hopefully stays in after a few washes!

Over the years I have used every hair colourant on the market and always return to this one by Clairol, who have been around for as long as I can remember. I am very impressed with their latest reformulations. I purchased the light caramel brown and was really pleased with the final colour. It covered all my greys and did not leave my hair dry which some other colourants do (yes even professional ones). I will keep with this colour as it was very natural yet rich and of course kind to the hair. Great service too as item arrived three days after ordering. A winner all round!

Have used this product for years. Cannot always find my shade in the shops (extra light natural blonde) but always have it on here, usually at a good price. It’s easy to use and lasts well, about six weeks. The result is very natural and most people think this is my real colour! I hope this shade is never discontinued, as so often happens with products.

Used this to cover the grey trying to sneak in my hair. It is easy to use and didn't stain my skin. It arrived in a timely manner.

Waay too expensive. Will not order this again online.

This is the color I was born with and no salon seems to be able to duplicate it. Now that I'm going grey, I use it to keep up my natural color. Unfortunately, many stores in my area no longer carry it, so thank goodness for Amazon!!
