Review: It is a container that can contain things - Used in one backpacking trip so far. It works as expected. I filled it to the top with homemade soup. It did not leak at all. It has a silicone lid seal. It gets dirty with whatever you are carrying and I find it a hassle to remove it and clean it. I wish it didn't have the silicon seal, but then it wouldn't have been leak-proof; just a matter of tradeoffs. If you remove the silicone seal the lid will not seal at all (it becomes lose without the seal). So if you are one of those puritans (like me) imagining a world of just metals, glass, and wood, and no plastics, you are just a dreamer. This container does not work without the silicon seal. There is another alternative sold on desertcart, that doesn't have a silicone seal, but that thing doesn't seal well, and if the box is bent, the lid will probably not stay on at all. So, I want to believe that this was the right choice.
