Sounding somewhere between Nazareth, the Heavy Metal Kids & Humble Pie with a sprinkling of New York Dolls glam & with one of the most distinguisable album sleeves of the 70s it should of been a sure fire hit. With tracks like Hello New York, Bright Light & Rock out Claudette this album certainly rocks big time. This new release sounds better than the original cd version and features 10 bonus tracks including the brilliant James Dean & the wonderful gospel inspired New Moon Tonight which showcases Des Barres incredible voice to great affect. The quality of the live tracks leaves a lot to be desired but nevertheless this is still a must for fans of 70s British Rock. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars 1973 A true contender *by G***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 10 January 2008* I love this album it is a typical 70`s rock band my only fault is I didnt discover it until 1995. If Id known about it then my friends would have been bombarded it is everything I love in a rock band. Vocal supreme Mr Michael Des Barres is on top form no matter who he joins up with the man is pure gold , unfortunatly not everything he touched turned to gold, His next big step was the mighty Detective and what a brilliant band they were only to implode after two albums.
