Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Video Creator Kit with EF-M 15-45mm Lens, Rode VIDEOMIC GO Microphone, and Memory Card, Black

I bought this camera to use on my YouTube channel and I've found I love this little workhorse. It's by no means a perfect camera, but for those who want to really dive into photography and video, this is probably the best value for the features you get.You do need to put in some effort to learn the fundamentals of photography and video in order to really take advantage of what this camera can do. If you're not willing to do that, perhaps a different camera is best for you.Here are the things I love about this camera- I can use different lenses (with adapter I can use all EF-S lenses)- Full HD 1080p at 24 & 60 fps- External audio jack- Flip out LCD screen a must for vloggers & this one is excellent (very bright)- Dual Pixel Auto-Focus is so fast- Small size makes it easy to carry around- Fully manual allows for great control of your pictures and video- SD Card memory format is great for budget conscious photographers like meThings I'm not a huge fan of- 4K is cropped at 1.6, but I don't really use 4K anyway, but this makes it harder to use- 120 fps is at 720p which is usable for a beginner like me, but the quality loss is a pain- Battery life can be a little short- The battery door was designed terribly. Once you have it mounted on a tripod, good luck getting to your battery or SD cardOverall, I really love this camera. It is a workhorse. It isn't a perfect camera, but for the price, especially if you get the video creator kit like I did, you get an amazing value for your money.

I'm a YouTuber and create cooking videos. I had been using my phone for a year to create these videos. Although I didn't need to buy a camera for my channel, I wanted to 😝I had searched and searched for affordable, good quality cameras, and Canon is always my go to camera to use. This camera is a good choice for content creators, vloggers alike. I don't vlog much, and this camera is better for those types of videos. For cooking videos, this camera is decent, but I thought the kit lens would have had better autofocus. I guess I might have to buy another lens for that.With that being said, I guess I just have to play with the settings but overall I am happy with my purchase. The video and picture quality is really nice and I'm glad I upgraded from my phone.Lightweight, good features, takes amazing shots - I'm happy 😊

If you are going to use this for streaming make sure you understand it doesnt work with elgato camlink and you will see why on youtube after some research.The camera itself is great and the quality is really good its just not going to work with some software for going live, canon does have its own software though and it does allow you to use this as a webcam as i do that on my stream.Elgato has a list of compatible cameras on there website so be sure to look into it before you drop around $500 on a nice camera for content creation and also look on youtube for tutorials.

I use this multiple times a month. You can't beat the weight, the price and the abilities it has. I did end up pairing this eventually with a 16mm lens which I love. This was a great budget set up at the time I purchased. It works with my dji sc2 gimbal as well. I only wish this had better hand held stability for filming which is what I mainly use it for. The mic is amazing as well. I did add a cage to it so I could have more cold shoe mounts... Is a must with a gimbal unless you can afford a sony A3 which would have been my main option had it not cost so much..

The camera is perfect but this "kit" is sold as a vlogging kit. If you have bluetooth or WiFi enabled on the camera, This mic is going to destroy your video with tons of background noise popping clicking,Please if you intend to purchase this flr vlogging, do yourself a favor and google Canon M50 Rode popping.Everyone is recommending you wrap the mic in aluminum foil to eliminate the sound. No joke, that is the recommendation.I am working with Rode support now since I cannot just return the mic on Amazon. I like the camera but this kit should never have been paired together.

It is a great camera. I bought it to make videos on YouTube and the truth is that it gave me the result I expected. If you want high quality videos it is excellent, although you should bear in mind that to achieve the best results you will need external light.As for the kit lens, the truth is that it is not very sharp, however, it is functional.I will leave a couple of photos that I took with the camera, with the factory settings and lens.

I love this camera! I use it for filming videos for YouTube and photography. The kit lense that it comes with is definitely useable however if you want to expand your horizons with filming and photography you will need to purchase additional lenses which can EASILY turn this into a thousand dollar set up. Now, the ONLY complaint I have is about the Rode VideoMic go that it comes with. It gives OKAY audio with static interference SOMETIME which sucks. I ended up purchasing the Rode VideoMic pro plus which is sooooooo much better but the price tag is pretty hefty. After everything was said and done, I turned this camera into a $1,500.00 camera setup with the lenses and accessories that I’ve purchased. Definitely would recommend this to anyone in the market for a great camera for a great price!

My name is Armando Akoni and I am a 21 year old aspiring filmmaker. I just have to say that this is an awesome camera and its amazing for the price. The video function is what I initially bought it for, But I use it for photos as well. The dual pixel auto focus is great in 1080p! Yes, I understand why people would complain about the 4k mode (No dual pixel/1.6x crop factor), but I don't know why people would complain when it does come with (focus peaking and at least its sharp, and your getting 4k for under $800 which is an incredible bargain in my personal opinion. P.S If you work for Amazon or Canon I would love to work with you and review your products. Anyways, Overall I am incredibly satisfied.Sincerely, Armando Akoni.
