If you want the color to stay longer you can use Rit ColorStay **Q: Can I use this to dye flowers?** A: You can dye synthetic silk flowers. **Q: I have an ice blue, 95% polyester, 5% spandex dress that I want to dye a grey/blue color. How would I get to this color?** A: I have never dyed fabric with this dye. However if you go to their website it will show you different shades and mixes to achieve the color you are after. I would assume you would go with a shade lighter as you are starting with blue fabric and not white.
