The Pest Expert Formula 'P' Carpet Moth Super Fumer Smoke Bomb is more than three times the size of a standard Fumer, so able to treat an area 3 times greater. Perfect for eradicating Moth infestations in larger spaces. The Formula 'P' Super Fumer Carpet Moth Smoke Bomb is a more powerful fumigation device than a standard Smoke Bomb, treating an area three times greater, which makes it ideal for getting rid of Carpet Moths in lofts, roof spaces or open-plan living areas. One Super Fumer will treat a space of 100 cubic meters (approx 8m x 5m with a standard ceiling height of 2.5m) The Super Fumer contains 11g of the active ingredient Permethrin at 13.25% w/w as opposed to 3.5g in the standard Fumer. Once lit, an insecticidal smoke is released as the Fumer smoulders, which disperses to fill the room/roof space, killing all Moths present at the time of treatment. Contains Permethin at 13.25% & Potassium Chlorate at 12.5-15%.

Review: Excellent moth killers - Recently moved into a house that appeared to be quite seriously infested with either carpet or clothes moths. I used these in every carpeted room a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen a single one since. I will repeat the process in a couple of weeks in case any new ones have hatched. Very easy to use - and effective. The smell lingers for a while, but is worth it!
Review: Easy to use.. seem to have got rid of moths for now! - Expensive day after lockdown when I re-visited my suits and found I had to bin 6 due to moth damage. I’ve done 4 things.. thorough clean through including carpet shampoo etc, fumigated using these smoke bombs, put stick up repellent in wardrobes and put the remaining suits in plastic zip up covers. Super Fumers —> I felt a bit uncomfortable setting fire to something and leaving it in a closed room.. so I filled a large shallow bowl with water and placed the fumer on an upturned small bowl in the centre so if it fell over or melted it would drop into the water. On lightning there is a few sparks but nothing too dramatic.. the fumer then smoulders for a minute and releases smoke into the closed room. I can confirm that the plastic fumer melts through at the side, I’d never place these directly onto a carpet.. The room was filled with smoke.. didn’t smell especially chemically.. more like a bonfire. I left the room sealed for a couple of hours and then aired it. If you’re doing a bedroom I’d do it in the morning so the smell has died off by the time you go to bed. I haven’t seen moths in the room since I did it ..and I was seeing them daily before.

**Q: Does the room have to be empty of furniture?**
A: No. Good to keep settees etc in room to zap them as well. But do not use near any food stuff or cooking equipment.

**Q: Would this also work with carpet beetles?**
A: I don't know but it seems to kill most things even me

A: Since using these our moth problem has dramatically reduced so I would say this product does kill the larvae as well as the moth.
