I bought these as I found I was sometimes too uncomfortably close in busy traffic when braking using the drops on my old road bike (old style brakes with long reach so not great). Not only did I find I usually was on the tops in busy traffic and not in the drops, these levers afford much easier leverage to provide better braking for me.I'm very happy with them, they work a treat. I gave 4 stars as I've only been using them a couple of months now and for 5 stars I need to know they have longevity. So far though, highly recommended if you are looking for a cross lever.

I stuck these on the end of a pair of Origin8 Bullhorn bars, facing backwards - the poor man's reverse brake levers. I have small hands, and these levers are perfect. They're cross bars, meant not for a while hand but for a couple or a few fingers; these fit my relatively small pointer, middle, and ring fingers perfectly. The end of the cord sits nicely inside the brake mechanism and the connections are tight, not loose like an older pair of cross levers I've used. The clamp is solid and the bolt is as well. These are great levers! Even for bars slightly wider than 26mm, the clamp will still perform well even if it's not 100% closed (but in that case I'd recommend putting a strip of rubber or cork, as in bar tape, under the clamp).

Great looking levers, seem to be of good quality. Installation was easy and went off without a hitch.

Works perfectly. Great price for a great product. Replaced a aero brake lever on my fixed gear with this to clean up the look. It does work as a stand-alone brake... Just thread the cable through and color it black with a sharpie if seeing the end of the cable bothers you (like it does me!)

i love my road bikes but had truble stoping. now with the tektro 720 brake lever i dont have to lean over to stop the bike thay work very well and are a snap to install and most of all it is a matter of safety and comfort while on the road.

Makes cycling much easier on the hands. Got these for my teenage daughter's road bike and she really likes them.

Bought this lever for a single speed conversion on an old ten speed...didn't fit the Origin8 Urban Riser bars I bought, so I shimmed it with about 5 wraps of electrical tape...tah dah...nice small, 2-3 finger lever...comes in pairs...would buy again.

Pretty good quality brake levers, tested them with a magnet and it seems like it's aluminum and not a metal alloy. I have them on my single speed. comes with 2 brake levers. Will update on durability.
