I find if you remove the perforated strip then fold. I then remove the book cover and then run a ruler down he crease. Re-insert the cover and place the cover in the protective cover. All you need is a clean hard surface to work on and perhaps a straight edge to held folding.These are a shiny finish, and quite thin. For me this size tends to be too narrow, consider buying a size that is a bit larger than the height of the book.
