It was also very easy to install and has a decent length cord. I love the all the colors and my fish seem to like it, too. I haven't tried the timer function yet, though. It has seemed to help on lowering the algae growth. That's the main reason I got this one to have a lower brightness. My tank grew algae quickly with the really bright light I did have. It's only a 5 gallon tank and doesn't need a ton of light. I definitely recommend this light.
