I haven’t fallen since using it. It doesn’t have the best turning radius but that’s to prevent it from tipping over while turning. It’s light enough to pick up as I scoot for turns in the kitchen and bathroom. I set my turns up early and I can get it through all doors without any problem. The brakes work fine but I have no plans on taking it on any hills. The adjustable handlebars come up to my waist (5’5) as they should. I’m glad I opted for the four wheels instead of three because of my balance issues. Back wheels are set in so they don’t get in the way while I’m scooting. It moves very smoothly and easily around the house. Also moves well over sidewalks, parking lots, gravel, my uneven patio without problems. I bought the memory foam padding which is more comfortable but it interferes with my balance so I took it off. The original seat is slightly concave so it’s more stable for balance. It’s still very comfortable without the extra pad.
