Is it worth it?
With an entire brand new ladder available from Costco for $119, it's difficult to justify the cost of this hinge, which is 1/3 the cost of an entire new ladder. I bought, it worked, IF you have pin ring pliers to install the locking ring. If you don't have those pliers, adding that cost makes this a questionable return on investment.

These also work on certain models of Gorilla Ladders

Expensive.
The addition of this knob to the 1A style ladder makes it much simpler to use. The parts are just as well built as the ladder and fit and operate perfectly. The price is high, but you get what you pay for.
