Review: Excellent coffee gives meaning to life. - I use this to brew coffee. For easy cleanup, I use disposable tea bags to place in the steel filter and it brews the coffee without a problem. Then all I do is just throw away the bag filled with coffee. No annoying grinds to have to deal with afterwards. I was a little hesitant to purchase due to the price, but I am so happy with this purchase and have no regrets. So worth it for good quality coffee.
Review: Dont miss this lovely,,, nice tea maker 😍 - I highly recommend this tea maker, i did not read the manual carefully in the beginning... so i thought, the machine did not brew except black tea, and i requested return, the return placed successfully, but because i really love the machine and its German strong and neat manufacturing, i decide to go again through the manual and read it carefully, step by step, i found i was wrong... and the machine work and brew perfectly in all choices, green tea, herbal tea, coffee and black tea, then i canceled my return request immediately, and i decide to keep this very very lovely tea maker. Please please read the manual carefully and follow-up all steps before you decide to return.

## Features

- Automatic Steam Brewer - Unlike traditional tea and coffee makers, our unique brewer uses steam to spray tea or coffee powder before gently dripping it into the boiled water. This innovative method expertly preserves the nuanced trace elements and rich flavor profiles of your tea or coffee, delivering a superior taste experience.
- Tea and Water Separation - Our brewer features a professional steam extraction basket that effectively separates tea or coffee powder and water, preventing prolonged brewing that can lead to astringent flavors.
- Six Flavors Available - Designed with 6 flavor settings from light to extra bold, our tea and coffee maker allows you to brew coffee and tea to perfection based on your taste preferences.
- Auto Keep Warm - Enjoy the convenience of our 2h automatic keep-warm function at 158℉ after brewing. For longer warmth, manually keep it warm for up to 8 hours.
- Easy Operation - Select your desired flavor and temperature setting, then press the button to initiate brewing. Our kettle handles the rest, automatically brewing and keeping warm, making your tea or coffee routine effortless.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I need to set both flavor and temperature when brewing?**
A: No, only choose one of them to brew. There are two brewing methods: flavor controls for flavorful tea or coffee and temperature controls for the tea.

**Q: Why choose steam brewing tea?**
A: The high-temperature steam enables water to rise and spray onto the tea leaves, forming droplets of tea that fall into the kettle. Release delicate flavors and aromas of tea leaves.

**Q: What's the difference between K156 and K176?**
A: The difference is based on material, flavors and the range of temp. K156 with a BPA-free plastic base, 6 flavor controls, temp range from 175ºF to 212ºF. K1763 with a 304 stainless steel base, 5 flavor controls, a wider temp range (140°F - 212°F).

**Q: Can the K156 Tea Brewer be used as an electric kettle to boil water?**
A: Yes, when using it as an electric kettle, you have the flexibility to choose the temperature, ranging from 175°F to 212°F.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very happy with this kettle!
*by P***S on 31 July 2026*

I've had this kettle for about a year. No problems with it. It's easy to use. It heats fast, is easy to refill and super easy to wash out by hand with a sponge or bottle brush. The coffee percolator is a little weak, even on the dark setting it needs to run longer (or maybe it was the beans I was using). For quick boiling water though, it's the champ. I've only used it for tea and coffee. In a dorm situation though, I'm sure it could be used to make ramen, or anything with a lot of liquid.
