## Description

desertcart.com: Maxtek Magnetic Glass Whiteboard 48 x 36 in, Frameless Glass Board for Wall | Large Glass Dry Erase Board, Strong Magnetic Surface, Includes Markers, Magnets, and Eraser for Classroom, Home, and Office

Review: A Most Excellent Purchase! - I bought two of these 3 ft. x 2 ft. glass whiteboards to stack in order to take advantage of the only wall space left in my office. I was flabbergasted at how well they were packed for shipping by the company. The delivery company (UPS) punctured the boxes during shipment, so I feared the glass boards were damaged. My fears were unfounded. These glass whiteboards are the newer design, with the mounting holes within the glass, rather than support brackets, so it was easier to stack them. I did not use the plastic tray to store markers that comes with each board, attachable by 3M sticky tape. The magnets that came with it are strong enough to hold a piece of normal paper on the board, though I wish the colors of the magnets were stainless or silver, to match the mounting hardware. The supplied markers worked well, and I purchased extra of the EXPO brand, which also worked well. It takes TWO people to install the glass boards so that you can ensure that the holes line up properly. I used some of the enclosed protective cardboard to make a template because that cardboard was the exact size of the glass boards. I drew the holes on the cardboard that corresponded to the holes in the glass, put a center mark on the cardboard with pencil, and then held it up to the wall to mark where I needed to drill. Holding cardboard in place was easier than trying to hold the heavy glass board up to the wall to mark whiteboard placement, and minimizes the risk of damage. Wall anchors came in the package; however, to be extra safe, we used more heavy-duty ones we had on hand that fit the supplied screws. These glass whiteboards exceeded my expectations, and so did the company's careful packaging! Do not be afraid to buy them just because they are glass. I imagine these will last a very long time and will not have residual marker coloring over time, like traditional whiteboards.
Review: Good look for a professional office. - This is a good looking alternative to the standard metal frame whiteboard. Bonus Points because it's magnetic. It takes two people and a level to hang this, but all hardware was enclosed. Great size for my needs, and much better glass like surface than a standard white board. You can use harsh chemicals to clean this without worrying about destroying the surface. The downside is the markers included arrived dried out.

## Features

- Modern Frameless Design：This 48x36 inch frameless glass whiteboard seamlessly integrates with contemporary decor. Its polished, rounded edge maintains your wall's clean aesthetic, while the expansive writing surface maximizes your creative space. This stylish centerpiece is perfect for any home, office, or classroom
- Zero-Residue Writing Surface：Engineered with ultra-dense tempered glass, our stain-resistant surface prevents ghosting and marks from lingering. The non-porous ceramic finish repels ink, ensuring easy clean-up with just a single swipe using any dry eraser. Built to withstand decades of daily brainstorming, it’s ideal for frequent writing, drawing, erasing, and rewriting without leaving any marks, no matter how long or how often it’s used
- Long-Lasting Glass：Crafted from 4mm commercial-grade tempered glass, this scratch-proof surface is four times more impact-resistant than standard steel whiteboards, selected for superior quality and outstanding durability. Its robust design resists scratches and dents, ensuring long-term performance
- Easy to Install：The maxtek glass board comes with a positioning template for easy and precise drilling—no need to struggle with heavy glass sheets while trying to drill holes. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, depending on your space and needs, making it perfect for a home office or office meeting. Enjoy a generous space for planning, organizing, displaying, and recording
- Strong Magnetic Only：Unlike traditional aluminum-framed whiteboards, the glass surface is too thick for standard refrigerator magnets to attach firmly. For best results, we recommend using strong neodymium magnets. Fortunately, the maxtek magnetic glass whiteboard includes 5 strong neodymium magnets, 3 markers, 1 magnetic eraser, and 1 removable marker tray, providing everything you need for an efficient and organized workspace

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good look for a professional office.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, great packaging, and exactly as described
*by R***N on October 13, 2019*

I see lots of comments complaining that normal magnets will not stick, that markers aren't as dark on the glass surface as they expected, or that the glass arrived with cracks or chips. All I can say is - READ THE DESCRIPTION! The seller makes it very clear that you must use rare earth magnets on these types of whiteboards. This is a glass surface, so don't expect writing to appear as dark as you are used to seeing on the older, cheaper whiteboards. Use quality markers and darker colors. I've found it also helps if you write a bit slower so the ink has time to transfer from the pen to the glass. The packaging on this product was excellent with styrofoam to protect the edges, front and back sides. The box was thick, sturdy and reinforced around the edges. It would not be reasonable to expect anything more than this. Yes, the package ends up being handled by lots of machinery and disgruntled postal employees along the way, so there are bound to be a few that arrive chipped or cracked. Work with the company for a replacement rather than dinging them with low ratings for something that is clearly beyond their control. The comments regarding the mounting screws and hardware are also not valid. The hardware supplied is more than adequate to secure this board to a wall. The key is to pre-drill the holes for the wall anchors with a properly sized drill bit and to make sure you have properly planned placement for the mounting hardware. If you don't have the tools or knowledge required to do this, talk to your local handyman (or handy-woman) neighbor or hire a profession to install it for you. Bottom line - This is a great product at a very good price. Packaging and shipment were top notch and the product is exactly as described. My only regret is that I did not purchase the next larger size. (I do not have any relationship with this company, nor did I receive any compensation for this review.)
