Lifeproof SLAM Series DROPPROOF Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus - Retail Packaging - Night Flash (Black/Green)

I want to start off by saying that I'm not a careful man. I have an active job, I work out regularly and I'm in the outdoors often as well. I frequently drop my phone, accidentally throw it across the room, step on it, etc. I wish I didn't, but I do. This case was originally sold to me at the TMobile store and I thought I'd gotten ripped off, but I have had exactly zero damage to my phone in the 8 years that I've used this case. I can't recommend it highly enough and I will never use another one.

This Lifeproof case is pretty much what I have come to expect and paid a premium for. First and foremost the case fit the phone perfectly. The control buttons give good posititive feedback and don't feel mushy nor require me to mash the buttons.Access to the fingerprint reader is still good even with the case on.The S9+ is a pretty slim cell, I was surprised that the Lifeproof case didn't increase the thickness too much imho.I haven't tested the case durability as I have only had the phone for a week. But if and when I do I will update this review with the outcome.

Its a good case that doesn't add too much bulk and adds a protective layer to your phone but, where the power button is, the case started to become an issue. The power button was not responsive when pressed through the case but has since now broken off in that spot. This case was bought for my husband and he does not have nails to mess up his case like this. We only bought this case 3-4 months before this happened.

I ordered this case because it got fair ratings and the website says drop proof.No way is it drop proof! Ultra ultra thin, no cushioning, screen touches when dropped unless the bottom edge, which is thicker, actually makes contact with the surface.I have Multiple sclerosis and drop my phone often, and often on asphalt roads or concrete parking lots.I have used the Lifeproof Next Premium case since I got the S9plus when it was first available - don’t remember the date. The black rubber held up much better than reviews I read but it finally bubbled and let go to the extent I had to cut it off. I am returning this case and ordering another of the durable thicker Lifeproof Next Premium. I’ll deal with the black rubber bubbling before I’ll risk dropping it with this case. Another reason, besides thickness of the case (air cushioning as sides don’t touch the phone) is the rubberized areas that block sand and dust also I think add some cushioning for falls. This is especially noticeable around the cutout for the camera. So when the phone hits backside down that thin clear rubber cushions the blow.The Slam is a super thin flexible sheet of plastic on the back with a thin flexible side piece that snaps onto it. No protection.

Don't waste your money! This lifeproof cover doesn't even protect your screen! My old lifeproof cover was far better and same price and only needed replacing because the screen protector was scratched a lot.. i should have looked closer.... $5-$10 is all you would really pay for this rubbish!First and last time ever using Amazon!

Para mi Samsung S9 plus

I materiali a primo impatto sembrano ottimi, l'unico neo e che sulla parte posteriore si creano un infinità di micro graffi (neanche il tempo di metterlo che erano già presenti dei graffi nella parte interna) oltre al fatto che in certi punti tocca la parte posteriore dello smartphone creando delle bolle d'aria.Mi riferisco alla versione Slam per s9 plus
