### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mesh system on steroids!

I live in a reasonably large L shaped property with the fibre access point at 1 end of the house. I was struggling to get WiFi access to my WiFi enabled devices in the garage. Initially when set up the wireless backhaul was using 2.4ghz making it very slow. It turns out you need to install the router then 1st satellite and then second satellite one after the other. Since then working seamlessly for all devices with no drop outs and excellent speeds. I suspect seperate band for the backhaul helps with this plus the seperate network(IOT) for cameras and other gadgets that only use 2.4ghz has been great. Was initially apprehensive about the purchase but definitely worth the premium price

### ⭐ Netgear Orbi Routers are honestly £2000 of Utter Rubbish

This Orbi WiFi solution is not fit for purpose. It does not work via a managed network switch, which isn't mentioned anywhere on the sale literature or the user manual. The support team kept me on the phone for 3 hours, getting me to move the devices all around my house, rebooting and factory resetting. They had my full topology diagram and model numbers of my network switches, but still they kept telling me they would get it working. One week later after chasing for a return call, they tell me the Orbi WiFi Routers are not compatible with any managed switches, other than NetGear ones. My old Draytek WiFi mesh solution that cost me £300 5 years ago works across those same switches and is therefore better. NetGear Orbi Wifi Routers are honestly a waste of hard earned money and the support is awful.

Performance-wise, it’s been flawless. All of my devices connect seamlessly, and I’m consistently hitting the maximum internet speeds provided by my ISP, which is a huge win. Even in a large home with multiple users and smart devices, the system hasn’t missed a beat. What really stands out is the rock-solid stability. I’ve had zero issues with devices dropping off the network, and the connection has remained strong and consistent throughout. Highly recommended if you're looking for a premium, high-performance mesh system that delivers exactly what it promises.
