Review: Good range of colours, nice paints well presented - I bought this Artecho Watercolour Paint Set for the range of colours, including some of the brighter ones, and I am not disappointed. The set comes nicely presented in a branded box, so ideal for gifting. The metal tin is attractive and sturdy, holding all paints in place. These are small pans of colour (see the 5p covers one pan) but there seems to be a decent depth so should last me a while. It also comes with a green drawstring bag for protection during travels or storage. The swatch chart is useful to see how the paints actually go down; I found them of a good quality for a very reasonably priced set.

I originally ordered the set because of the beautiful metallic paint included. It makes brilliant 'spatters' on projects and can add a touch of sparkle to any bit of paper. It is perfect for this however after playing with the paints I have found that the other pigments/colors are in fact very nice, especially for the price. I have actually started teaching myself a bit of water color technique because of the ease of use and beauty of these paints! I highly recommend this set !
