Skagen Men's SKW6352 Signatur Brown Leather Watch

Beautiful watch that I got on a steal of a deal. Band is not as tacky as many say, and I already ordered a variety of replacement bands for when the original is ready to be replaced. Wonderful, minibimalist watch with true Skagen standards. One great detail is the edge of the dial is a hard neoprene or something covering the metal... so this watch is a great daily driver. Those of us experienced with these fragile round dials, that it’s easy to chip the ‘rim’ in day to day work... this is engineered to prevent that tarnishing. 👌🏻🤘🏻

UPDATE: Defective.After a month of light, careful use, the second hand went askew and the watch does not keep time anymore. I'm paying to get it repaired.Gorgeous. But WHY would the manufacturer wrap the tag string around the buckle so that it CANNOT be removed?!

The price is right... I put some vegetable oil on the strap to make it darker... Happy with purchase.

UPDATED: I've decided to lower the rating to three stars. I dislike the light color band.ORIGINAL: I was looking for a Bauhaus style watch and was very excited when I was offered an opportunity to review this watch. It has the minimalistic design that I like. A calendar function (either a window, or another dial) would be nice, but I am OK with not having it. In a few days that I have the watch, it's been accurate. The fit and finish seem top notch. The white of the dial seems to be with a hint of ivory, which is classy, and hour markers have dots next to them that appear to match the band color.I was offered the black case/brown leather band. In my opinion, the band is too light and does not stand out enough against my wrist making it look like the watch is floating. I wish the band was darker. Also, even though the back cover of the case says All Stainless Steel, it is clear that the case and the buckle are coated in black pigment. I am concerned it will start coming off with time.Even though I like this watch, I think, an uncoated stainless steel case (either matte or polished), with the same light face, and a darker brown band would make for a better looking watch.

I have 2 Skagen Watches now. They are very basic, clean, simple and classy.Each of them keeps time well with the Japanese quartz movement and overall the quality is reasonable for the price.The Signatur watches are pretty much the pinnacle of simplicity so if that's your style then these watches are for you.No date, no chronograph, no fancy bells and whistles, water resistant to stand the rain but that's it.They are very thin and reasonably sized, so it's not going to stand off of your wrist like a monstrous Invicta.This is a casual/classy dress watch and there's not much to complain about, you put it on and it either it looks good with what you're wearing or it doesn't.If i was gunna gripe about one thing it would be the bands. Both of my Skagen Signatur's have a standard clasp with the loops to hold the band down but each of them have a sewn down loop that is WAY to close to the clasp. Since the band is a stuff leather this makes it kind of tedious to bend the band and smoosh it into the loop. Once you get past that though, it's a very clean looking piece.I may change the band if it continues to annoy me but for now I'm happy with it.

The watch itself is a very nice classic style with a neutral color scheme. The band has a kind of patina so it is a bit shinier than it looks in the pictures. The watch fits my husband well and is the kind of watch you can either dress up or down. The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of five is because the finish on the band is very easily scratched/scuffed. Over a short period of time I can see us needing to replace the band. I'm trying to attach a picture to show what I mean. Other than that this really is a nice watch and it keeps time well.

Perfect for casual watch for woman ✌. Light and accurate.

Upon opening the box for this watch and seeing the face, I immediately thought to myself that this was a very sharp and cool looking watch. After taking it out, my feelings changed upon examining the band. The band does not do this watch justice. The color is a weird shade of beige bordering on peach. I would not wear this watch with the provided band. Much too feminine for my taste. I considered buying a replacement band, but my wife saw the watch and immediately fell in love with it, and the peach colored band. Frankly, it looks much more fashionable on her. It's obviously too early to tell how long the watch will last and how durable it may be. So my feelings are torn. I cannot recommend this watch as shipped for a man, but can without reservation for a woman. Even with a small delicate wrist I think this is more of a women's watch.
