The smoke that came out smelled foul and hazardous. I would NOT recommend this product.FYI - This is a UK brand but the product is made in China. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Value *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 3, 2019* The lid can be tricky to open but once you are familiar with it and it has been used a few times, then it gets easier. I have had mine for 4 years and only recently has started to go wrong. I use my grinder at least every week, grinding peppercorns, agnus castus berries, fennel and coffee beans. All done with ease and the coarseness depends on how long you hold the button down! Not easy to clean but I just use kitchen roll after coffee beans, other than that I don't bother. Only downside is that the blades are not replaceable (as far as I can tell) and that is the reason why it is starting to go wrong. However, 4 years of constant use is definitely VFM.
