Salem has a sort of sensitive stomach and is incredibly picky when it comes to food. The moment we opened this and gave it to him, he devoured it. We started small to see if he would have any stomach problems but he hasn’t so far. It is hard food - we could tell by his crunching but he loves it!

This Optimeal dry cat food seems to be good quality and the bag is great. I like the zipper closure. Alas, even though this food smells the same to me, my four cats basically said “meh”. They were excited when I opened the bag as any new bag may contain something new. But, when I put some in a bowl they took a few each and wandered away. I set the bowl next to their usual Friskies and the next day it was untouched.So hard to predict what cats will like.
