I have run across many ball joints that have horrible dust cover boots,not these. The supplied boots pull off easily during assembly in order to check grease packing, go back on good and cinch down but don't squash on install. The unit was grease filled reasonably well before shipping. Both long and short bolts are supplied and the long were correct for my 4 whl drive. Remember- install longer bolts thread end up before you cinch the upper ball joint to knuckle for proper clearance. The nut was not a m24,or m27 but a 1&1/16  box wrench worked well. I used a stronger cotter pin than supplied. If the ball joints holds up I won't change the five star rating ?
