Simply an amazing product the best projector ive ever owned !!
After owning the Optoma UHD550X for over a year and needed something a little smaller for my cinema room. I heard so many good reviews about the Optoma UHD51 and Becuase ive always had Optoma projectors i decided to go for the 51. The projector arrived well packed from Amazon. Slick black case with an off set lens it really looked the part ! Connected to my uhd player and fiddled with the settings and got a gorgeous picture. The Reverent in 4k looked amazing it was like looking though a window i could of actually climbed though haha. The depth of the film was incredible so much more the LCD and what you get for the money is simply amazing Optoma really listen to there customers. So happy about this product thanks again Optoma you made my Christmas

Excellent 4K projector for the price
I purchased this item on 10 Apr 20 having researched similar items online. The quality of the 4k picture is first class given the relatively low price for this type of projector. It is very straight forward to set up using either the menu built into the system or the neat little backlit external remote which comes with it. It has lots of interesting features including the ability to upscale non 4K content using HDR sim feature. It can also play 3D Blu-ray content. However to enable this you will need to purchase compatible DLP link active shutter glasses separately. However it is well worth it as the projector really delivers in this area. I am still tinkering with settings to optimise picture quality for my specific needs. However, I am really pleased with my purchase. This is the third Optoma projector I have owned over the last few years but is by far the best to date.

Great projector!
The main visible difference on screen between my older and cheaper Optoma and this new Optoma projector is definition. There is no pixelation with fast moving scenes. But it still needs a DARK room for best picture quality. The fan blows out a lot of heat. I believe this is a great projector for the money. I would advice, Don’t get a cheaper one. But a 4K TV screen is way better quality!

Fantastic product, no regrets
Amazing product. While I don’t have experience of other similar projectors. We are very happy with this purchase. Have just completed a new games/cinema room and using projector from about 5m away onto a 3-4m light grey painted wall. Experience is fantastic. Picture quality and brightness is alwlays good and if stream quality is high (e.g. Disney+ Via Firestick 4K), then it is amazing. Latent light needs to be reduced for a great experience - but easy if night viewing or with some blinds. Easy to use - just have to turn on, remove lenses cap, adjust focus. Menu has lots of configurations which can be a bit baffling - but doesn’t seem to matter much in practice. Solidly built.

Amazing projector for the price
Bought this as an upgrade to my Benq w1070 projector. Installation was easy I did not have to move the projector mount for this upgrade. The picture is amazing for the price, if there is anyone who is on the fence about getting this projector just do yourself a favour an get one.

Amazing picture, shame
Allot quieter than my last optima he projector which is good to say it’s a bit of a monster. Heavy and big. Picture amazing.Only negative is the optical out which is only 2 channel so caused a problem with PS5 (which doesn’t have optical now so you need it on projector)
