This is a decadent item that you didn't need but love.

It stopped working within one week. Don't invest your money on a product that will die within a week.

I recently moved up to a Jura Giga 10 home coffee machine. It is pricey, to be sure, but with Lavazzo beans it makes a whole slew of coffee drinks at the touch of a button that are the equal to the best coffees I got in Italy. The cool control device is not necessary. You can stick the milk hose into a container of milk from the fridge and get the exact same result. But what it allows me to do is load it in the morning and connect it to the coffee machine. That way the milk stays cold and I'm good all day without any further fuss. So if you are willing to spend $5K on a machine that makes absolutely great coffee drinks add another $300 for the complete package.

A small wine cooler, which is silent, would serve you better

Mine failed in less than a year. Try navigating Jura’s website for support and gave up. Absolutely the worst. Turns out that the sensor that detects the weight of the milk and keeps the cooler on is defective. So now I keep a brick on top of it to keep it working.

Started out great, milk at 46 degrees, then noticed milk going off regularly temperature now at 51. Cleaned the dust off cooling fins, but no difference. Great idea just for me not reliable, and the weight sensor is an unnecessary complication. Looking for a different machine.
