It does give some plumping w/o burning & the fat rounded balm stick is satisfying to apply, but OH, the color. I bought Big O thinking it would be maybe a nude wash with the tiniest bit of pink that would perhaps develop a BIT over time; Think pink marshmallow from Lawless, super pretty & easy & just “slightly better than natural” but w/hopefully more color or depth. I put this on in the AM after doing my makeup & went off to do whatever else was needed before work. I went back to undo my heatless curls right before leaving, so ~40mins later & what had gone on as a nice mild color wash like I was hoping for had transformed into a 80’s Barbie HOT PINK. Don’t get me wrong, I love Barbie & hot pink but the vividness of the color, for a lip balm, was unbelievable. It looked like hot pink lipstick that had faded from a few hours of wear, but lipstick bright. Definitely not what I was after & I’m super bummed about it, but I love the texture & the unexpected but neutral hot pink color so much that I’m keeping it for when I want that look. So!
