We took apart a portable AC we use in our bedroom and the coils were PACKED with dust/dirt that was caked in there. I sprayed it on there, let it sit, and scrubbed the coils with a soft nylon brush. I did this a couple of times until most of the really packed on dirt was gone. Then rinsed ALOT with water, let dry and the AC is working great. The product seemed to stick and a little hard to wash off... not sure if that's good or bad.Tip, the spray nozzle from a spray bottle from the dollar store fit on this bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but not safe to use inside. *by on Reviewed in the United States 27 April 2025* This certainly cleans but as others have said I will never clean an ac inside again. It took 3 days to air out the room and I’m still a little worried about the fumes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I suppose it works. *by on Reviewed in the United States 15 April 2024* I wanted a coil cleaner for my condensers outside that I could hook to a garden hose sprayer. I also wanted something that wouldn't foam (or at least minimally did so) since I've gotten canned coil cleaner (which cost more and only does one unit!) and they all foamed up before hitting the coils and I don't feel they got good penetration into the coils and just sat on the surface. It frothed up a little but no more than any light soapy solution. Had a typical all-purpose cleaner scent to it. I used it on two units that had light dirty on them, so I can't say how well it'd do for a more dirty unit, but I did see a bit of mud getting washed out of the coils.Could probably get at 4 or 5 units cleaned with one bottle. Next time I might go and put it in a garden sprayer to get a more even concentration. ## Frequently Bought Together - ComStar 90-299 Coil Safe Professional Grade Neutral pH Evaporator and Condenser Coil Cleaner, 1 quart Bottle, Green - Advanced Coil Cleaning Fin Brush for AC Evaporator and Condenser Coils – Dual-Sided HVAC Coil Cleaner | Stainless Steel Pins & Soft Bristles | Improve Efficiency, Prevent Build-Up, Easy AC Maintenance - Nu-Calgon 417175 Evap Foam --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/624242868-90-299-coil-safe-professional-grade-neutral-ph-evaporator-condenser](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/624242868-90-299-coil-safe-professional-grade-neutral-ph-evaporator-condenser) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
