I had good luck with the Merrell MOAB boots, so I thought these would be worth a try. The size to fit seems pretty spot on - I normally wear 10.5 and the 10.5 fits perfectly. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box, but within a week, they were well-broken in, and at two weeks of daily wear, they fit like a glove.I did replace the laces with shock cord because I'm too lazy to tie shoes and those keep good tension to keep excellent fit while hiking (I keep the actual laces in my pack just in case I need them).
